Rising 1,000 feet above the ocean on Miami Beach, the non-smoking Fontainebleau Resort Miami Beach charms our guests with its classic style and well-equipped rooms. Considered the classic Miami Beach hotel, this favorite of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack was built in 1954 by Morris Lapidus in Miami Modern architectural style. This 20-acre oceanfront hotel has 1,504 rooms divided among four buildings. Most accommodations have ocean or bay views,
and some have balconies. Rooms are a tech-lover’s dream, with large flat-panel HDTVs, 20-inch iMac computers and iPod docking stations. Free Wi-Fi and wired internet is included in the daily resort fee. Beds are designed with comfort in mind, with pillowtop mattresses, duvets and 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets. Junior suites have separate sitting areas and sofa beds, and the larger suites add full kitchens and dining areas. Umbrellas, chairs, cabanas, jet skis and water sports equipment are available for rent.
